management. McKinsey & Company, Inc. is a U.S. corporation, which, together with its
subsidiaries, has more than 100 offices in over 60 countries. The Swiss offices (Zurich and
Geneva) comprise about 280 employees. For our Zurich office, we are looking for a RECRUITER 100% with a background in natural & life sciences to support and drive our recruiting efforts in Zurich and Geneva
by administrating all aspects of hiring, cultivating, and integrating talent with non-business backgrounds for
our consulting pool. The main responsibilities are as follows: ■ Campus recruiting activities in the German- and French-speaking parts of Switzerland, including
establishing strategies and concepts in collaboration with consultants; planning, organizing, and
running recruiting events such as careers fairs, workshops, and presentations; identifying, attracting,
cultivating, and coaching students; creating statistics and analysis ■ Planning and organizing interview days for our internal interviewers and coordinating all aspects of
hiring, including scheduling interviews, corresponding with candidates and offerees, and coordinating
cultivation activities for them ■ Screening CVs: Monitoring and taking care of data in the application database; responding to inquiries
from other McKinsey offices; and participating in inter-office recruiting efforts The successful applicant Ideally, the successful applicant will have 2 to 3 years of recruiting experience (in the field of natural & life
sciences) and have gained some onboarding and general HR experience in Switzerland, preferably in an
international work environment. ■ Commercial apprenticeship (KV) or vocational diploma (or equivalent); further education is a plus ■ Strong command of German and English; a good command of French is considered an advantage ■ Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications ■ Outstanding organizational skills, accurate and service-based working style, close attention to detail ■ High level of flexibility, ability to juggle multiple priorities and work under pressure ■ Open-minded and positive person; strong team-player with a mature attitude and exceptional
