Vendor Management Specialist

Based in Stein, we are looking for a Vendor Management Specialist.

Responsibilities include:

Manage full process lifecycle starting from job requisition creation to candidate start of assignment:

  • ? Broadcast job requests to approved suppliers using e-technology tool.
  • ? Exercise screening techniques that ensure only high-quality résumés are forwarded to the customer for review.
  • ? Coordinate the candidate interview process on behalf of the hiring managers.
  • ? Successfully negotiate the bill rates to ensure they are aligned with current market rates and closely related to the necessary job criteria.
  • ? Confirm assignment logistics between hiring manager and supplier regarding the contractors' assignment information (i.e. start and end   date, location, rates, hours, etc.)

Interact daily with hiring managers and staffing agencies and service providers to resolve program related issues. Appropriately manage the customer and supplier relationship by building a professional relationship, following up consistently, and by maintaining ongoing contact and communication. Act as a cooperative and contributing team member of the MSP Program to ensure that a high level of service is always offered to both customers and suppliers.


A perfect candidate ideally:

  • ? owns a high school diploma (a bachelor's degree in human resources or business is preferred, but not required)
  • ? has at least two years of experience in the staffing industry
  • ? is proficient in developing professional relationships with clients and suppliers
  • ? has excellent German and English communication skills including verbal, written, and listening
  • ? has good negotiation and interviewing skills
  • ? is efficient with time management
  • ? has functional PC and Internet skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

The candidate should also be able to: Solve problems; prioritize and effectively handle multiple tasks that require detail-orientation; lead and/or contribute to a team environment and demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
