Alpina HR Services Ag is looking for a Business Analyst for Regulatory reporting (m/f)

Main Role
Identify and analyses business requirements (data sources, interfaces, business logic and quality) and work directly with user/business, project manager, IT developers and other business customer to understand business requirements, objectives and specifications
Active involvement in solution finding within the project (close collaboration with business and IT and other customers/stake holders)
Be a subject matter expert for IT team
Document business requirements and specifications as per firm standards
UAT co ordination

Qualifications
Possess a bachelor degree in either Finance, Business Administration or IT
Min 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Min 3-5 years of experience in banking sector (as BA), preferably in Operations IT
Strong knowledge of Securities
Ability to pro-actively interact with other Business Engineers, Business Users to understand user requirements and offer recommendations/alternatives
Possess an excellent understanding of business processes within Operations and related bank applications, key areas are cash settlement flows & cash record, security settlement flows and stock record, settlement obligations, payments, trade order management, general ledger / sub ledgers
Excellent communication skills on all levels (from senior management to staff)
Strong English language skills is an absolute must. German will be an advantage
