Alpina HR is looking for a Monitoring Specialist (m/f)

Key Accountabilities:
• Support a high performing and collaborative set of customer groups and be a key
contributor to the monitoring improvement project
• Because we are a small team, the ability to communicate technical ideas effectively,
in oral and written forms, and solve complex problems in a team environment will
also be considered.
• Co-ordination for specific monitoring related topics
• Incident management and 3rd party application maintenance and support
• Support to business areas in their technical testing in test and integration
• Preparation of training documentation and execution of user trainings

• Demonstrated ability to configure and manage multi-OS environments (RedHat,
Solaris, MS Server 2008/2012 R2)
• Superior knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Check_MK)
• Thorough understanding of conceptual implementation of monitoring solutions
• Competent in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL
• Experience in working in an international team with native and non-native English
• Fluent in spoken and written German and English
• Technical know-how in operating systems, databases and applications (preferred)
Required Experience:
• Business analyis
• University degree or equivalent in computer science or engineering
• Programming experience
• Avaloq parameterisation and development
