Media Relations Manager (m/f)

- Execute integrated strategies that encompass multiple forms of communication: media, social media, stakeholder networks and internal stakeholders Promotion and protection of the companies corporate reputation - Help to create compelling communications materials and identify stories that bring strategies to life - Effective issues management in support of the companies freedom to operate and reputation management - Media planning for functional and business leaders - including crop and asset heads - Act as a credible spokesperson on a global scale - Advise and provide counsel to leaders on media related topics and messaging - Manage media requests in a strategic way - Manage communications activities around key corporate events - Advise and collaborate with a high-performance, global network of communicators - Active engagement with existing and new media contacts - Identification and development of stories to promote the understanding of the business and to enhance the reputation

Act as a credible spokesperson

Proven ability to communicate in situations of conflict, opposition and stress

- At least 3 years' experience in corporate communication, media relations, PR or journalism - Experience and appreciation of the agenda and issues critical to the companies reputation. - Demonstrated track record in supporting and meeting agreed targets and providing timely reliable high quality deliverables - Demonstrated track record of managing complex projects within an international multicultural matrix environment - Proven ability to communicate in situations of conflict, opposition and stress - Drive and initiative to continually seek/create and champion new ideas/concepts - High level of strategic and analytical and conceptual thinking as well as follow through on implementation - Demonstrated sound judgement when dealing with media - Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills - Robust personality with ability to deal with ambiguity - Strong commitment to teamwork in a complex and multicultural matrix environment - Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both orally and in writing, and the ability to influence and persuade - Fluent/native speaker in both English and German; at least one other continental European language desirable - A demonstrated ability to establish and maintain open, candid and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders - University Degree - preferably Public, Affairs, Communications, Journalism or related
