In this role and as a stand-alone Tax person in the European organisation, you will report to the EU Finance Director and interact with local Finance Controllers across the legal entities, both sales and manufacturing entities. Specific duties will involve: - Identification and delivery of Tax Planning opportunities in all countries, including Switzerland. - Work on some scenario to improve the tax strategy in Europe, including some IP & financing aspects. - Alignment of the Tax Model on future business and supply chain requirements. - Management of external providers for compliance activities in Europe with a focus on Germany, UK, Italy and France. - Update of TP documentation. - Assist European companies during tax audits - including relation with local authorities and third party providers. - Work on tax restructuring following acquisitions in the region. This role may become permanent at the end of an initial 3 to 6 month assignment.
European scope with exciting tax related projects
- Degree in Finance/Taxation. - 8 years minimum of experience in a Tax Manager role, including some experience as a Consultant in a Law Firm or Big4. - Experience of multiple jurisdiction in Europe. A direct experience of Germany and France would be an asset. Experience in a company operating a similar model in Switzerland is a must. - Fluent in English. - Strong communication skills, ability to influence stakeholders. - Available for a start mid September.
