Sales Engineer - Industrial Distribution Network

The Sales Engineer, reporting to the International Sales Director, will have the following responsibilities: *Maintain (80%) and develop (20%) relationships with the existing distributors. *Complete field marketing and technical responsibility for the product line in the German and French speaking Switzerland. *Partner closely with company's existing sales network to maximize sales and promote market expansion. *Influence end-user specifications to provide approval for the company, emphasising technical advantages over competitor products. *Create demand for the products through pro-active promotion with end-users, design institutes/consulting companies and other specifying engineers. *Develop sales strategies and tactical plans to achieve regional sales targets.

Technical Sales experience of Industrial Goods and Projects

Fluent knowledge of French and German

Located preferably in the area between Zürich, Basel and Luzern. The position includes travels within the territory. Some travelling also within Europe for training and international meetings. 5+ years technical sales experience, or someone with good technical knowledge and good sales experience (70% a salesman and 30% a technical person) to a distribution network. Construction Industry experience and or products for installation of technical products is a plus. A university degree Fluent verbal and written German and French knowledge The ability and willingness to be constantly on the road with clients across Switzerland An independent and communicative team-player with excellent communication skills
