Associate Manager Quality, 100%
Major duties and responsibilities:

  • Act as the Deputy Qualified Person responsible for GMP / GDP in accordance with local legislation for the market
  • Support the Head of Quality in ensuring a robust Quality Management System is implemented and maintained including:
    • Maintain the Quality System Documentation, procedures, and records including:
    • Verify material quality status and batch release
    • Train personnel as needed - ensure initial and continuous training programs are in place
    • Coordinate and promptly perform any recall operations for medicinal products. Perform mock recalls as needed
    • Ensure customer complaints are entered in the system in a timely fashion and are dealt with effectively
    • Coordinate third-party supplier activities and ensure compliance
    • As the Deputy QP, decide on the final disposition of returned, rejected, recalled, or falsified products or escalated relevant documentation for decision, as applicable
    • As the Deputy QP, approve returns to saleable stock, according to company’s guidelines, or integration of those returns based on company`s decision, as appropriate
    • Support the Head of Quality in ensuring a system is in place to investigate deviation and to manage CAPA
  • Assure correct tracking of quality complaints in the internal database
  • Communicate the outcome of investigations to complainant, as appropriate
  • Support Supply Chain to avoid / end back orders
  • Support Supply Chain for timely redressing


  • Must possess a university degree in Sciences, preferable in Pharmacy or Life Sciences with appropriate experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical health care operations, quality control, distribution and International regulations are essential
  • Proficient in cGMPs, cGDPs and regulations promulgated by the FDA, EMA or equivalent regulatory Agencies; ISO 9001:2000 regulations; and requirements for pharmaceutical products distribution
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and apply company`s operating philosophy and to operate within Company policies and procedures within Quality and Compliance area
  • Good verbal, written and presentation skills in English; the ability to deal effectively with all levels of management
  • Innovative, creative, and able to utilize available resources
  • Strong working knowledge in PCs (experienced in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP) and in Quality Systems
  • Team oriented worker with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to switch priorities plus manage more than one project at the time. Ability to plan and conduct projects within a multidisciplinary environment, inquisitive, science technology oriented individual but practical
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate directly, and to lead cross functional and cross regional teams
  • Strong negotiating skills in order to interface with regulators and external Quality Assurance business. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas, lead and persuade others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives
