Funktion:Procurement Support SpecialistTätigkeitsbereich:Pharma/ChemieBeschreibung:
  • Function in both regional and global capacity
  • Coordinate and manage external vendors (eProcurement system and system technical support)
  • Track and follow up eProcurement system performance (SLA management)
  • In case of errors or system failures work together with external vendors to solve the problems
  • Plan and execute all system changes in cooperation with the external vendors
  • Execute on the Procure-to-Pay process – run the procurement operations
  • Partner with category manager in operational buying
  • Follow up on Purchase Orders with internal end-users and stakeholders as well as with national and international suppliers
  • Support the implementation of remediation actions for identified internal and external audit findings on a timely basis
  • Actively propose process/system improvements and share best practice within the company
  • Responsible to train and support internal users on processes and tools
  • Maintain and improve the SRM database
  • Maintain department intranet site and be responsible for communications

Spezielle Anforderungen

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years' experience in procurement or system support
  • Proven experience in designing and managing processes
  • Sound experience in delivering training and user support
  • Proven experience working with external vendors
  • Experience in life science industry
  • Well versed in eProcurement tools as well as MS Office applications
  • Ability to coordinate and manage external vendors
  • Experience to negotiate contracts and understanding of different contract structures
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Conflict management experience with ability to effect efficient issue resolution
  • Global, cross-cultural and inter-disciplinary working experience
  • Influencing, negotiation, facilitation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with interacting effectively with internal and external customers
  • Fluent in English – both verbal and written. Additional languages are a plus
