Creative, cool, and artistic person wanted for a role of UX Designer at an intimate and friendly company close to Bern.
Our client, (one of my favourites but don't tell the others, they get jealous), is looking to add a UX designer to their team. There are currently 35 people in the company, including 3 UX Designers, and despite their size they have an international environment. Wanna be the 36th? :)
So, enough hyperbole, here's the role:
Design crisp visuals, crisper than a Bernese spring morning
Work with the developers to ensure your designs are not only awesome, but practical for development
Help the company win new business by producing sleek and jaw dropping designs for pitches
Focus on the philosophy of "front-end first". Make it look good, user friendly and fit for purpose, the rest will follow
Be the focal point of contact for the client, working with an Agile methodology and seeking constant feedback
Translate customer needs into designs and technical requirements
What should you bring to the party?
Experience in UX design for websites and mobile apps
Proto-typing and wireframing should not be foreign words to you. Experience with Balsamiq, Invision, Axure, would be really cool
Good experience with design tools; Adobe suite, Photoshop, Sketch etc would also be cool
At least B2 Level German and English. Communication is key!
So, if you fit then go ahead and apply :) Maybe you aren't ready, maybe you are worried about your CV looking right, maybe you are busy drinking a cup of tea. All of this is fine, if you want more details then call me :)
