Senior Traffic Manager Zn/Pb Concentrates (F/M)

Our customer, a successful Commodity Company, is looking for a Senior Traffic Manager (male or female).

Duties :

Processing documentation and complying with all requirements as listed under letters of credit and transport documentation and all aspects of executing commodity transactions.
Executing contracts including preparation of documentary instructions as per sales contracts and letters of credit. Forwarding the instructions to related parties, appointing surveyors, following-up cargo and services documents and providing final approvals for the issuance.
Familiar with Chartering and Marine terms.
External contracts include banks, freight agents and 3rd party commodity receivers.
Contact person for clients in terms of logistic matters.
Domestic Logistics Operations: Coordinating operations with the local logistics companies, following up daily warehouse transfer reports, stock controls and independent inspections.
Managing transportation from ports and warehouse.
Supervising loading and discharging of cargoes.
Arranging inspection Services.
Managing all documentary presentations.
Negotiating service contracts with surveyors.
Define and implement traffic procedures required for the control and risk-management of trading operations.
Issue weekly management reports: P&L, exposure, positions, performance.
Coordinate with IT specialist for the development of a Traffic System.

We are looking for candidates:

At least 5 years related experience in handling Zn/Pb Concentrates.
Familiar with letters of credit and international Transport documentation.
Experience in dealing with mines and smelters.
Knowledge of usual trade flows, qualities and shipping routes.
Experience with surveyors, laboratories.
Solid knowledge on hedge and concentrate¡¦s market..
Exceptional organizational skills are required.
Ability to prioritize and to handle various transactions at the same time.
Self-conscious and reliable.
Good team player, dedicated and flexible.
English (written & spoken) and good knowledge of Spanish.
