Digital Customer Experience Consultants
Within the Digital Technology Unit (DTU), we are looking for experienced Technology Consultants to join our Digital Customer Experience team. This team is responsible for working with clients to define, design and implement the next generation of B2C platforms that digitally engage our client’s customers in new ways.
The roles can be at Consultant, Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant levels. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience and skills from working upon solutions that have a have a strong e-commerce and digital content element. In particular we are interested in people who have skills in omni-channel content management, channel optimization, loyalty and digital payments. Individuals who have experience in SaaS-based B2C/B2B solutions and/or custom software/platform development are particularly sought.
All roles are technical in nature but require a strong bias for operating in a client-facing environment, and the ability to operate across pre-sales, sales and delivery of Consulting (advisory) and combined Consulting & Systems Implementation/Integration projects. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have the ability to describe complex technical solutions in meaningful business language that engages business stakeholders. Therefore, these roles also require an ability to think from the client’s business problem angle, including being agnostic of technology or framing solutions around an ecosystem of products when appropriate.
These are key roles in the DTU practice, and will also liaise across our Digital Transformation practice, our Systems Integration business, Customer Experience Centre of Excellence and our Global Delivery Centres in Poland and India.
The roles are European-based (any country) and involve extensive travel, mostly in Europe but as required worldwide. Consequently, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to comply with all necessary visa and work permit requirements in order to successfully reside and work within the UK, EU and Europe.
Experience, training and relevant certifications in ecommerce platforms such as Demandware, Magento, Hybris, etc highly desirable
Exposure and experience of working upon global/reactive/web-scale architectures based upon technologies such as Scala/Akka, Phoenix/Elixir and NoSQL technologies such as Cassandra, Mongo, Redis are highly desirable
Exposure to API based solution integration and federated security protocols (OAuth, SAML, etc.)
Exposure to Lean and DevOps SDLC practices (Code Telemetry and Instrumentation, Delivery Pipeline Automation, Canary Pattern)
Location: Flexible, likely to be close to a European city with an international airport.
