The Neurocenter Bern at the Inselspital (Bern University Hospital) has the largest stroke center in Switzerland and is one of the pioneer centers in the management of acute neurological diseases with a particular effort in endovascular stroke treatment. The Inselspital currently manages approximately 2'000 stroke patients and up to 6'000 patients with acute neurological problems per year.

The challenge

You are expected to competently strengthen the research in the field of acute neurology and stroke. You work across several clinics, cooperate with both clinical and basic researchers, and contribute to the development of the neuroclinical study center (NCTU).

Your profile

For this position we are looking for a candidate with a strong academic competence, a proven track record in stroke research, who is highly motivated to contribute to the further development of the stroke center Bern. Based on the skills and experience, a combination with a clinical position and a further clinical and academic career is possible. Knowledge of the German language is mandatory and knowledge of the French language is desired.
