Responsibilities & Profile

Your responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to our clients and audit teams on IFRS-related matters
  • Analyze complex IFRS issues and respond to IFRS technical queries, with a focus on financial instruments for both corporate and financial services clients
  • Review financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS to fulfill our compliance function
  • Support clients in responding to IFRS questions raised by stock exchange regulators
  • Assist engagement teams in (client) workshops related to new or revised standards
  • Successfully contribute to and lead various projects (e.g. conversion projects, IPOs, comfort letters etc.)
  • Participate in internal technical networks (e.g. KPMG IFRS topic teams)
  • Develop and hold internal and external IFRS training sessions
  • Support your colleagues in Audit in their market initiatives as IFRS specialist

Your profile

  • Swiss Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification
  • At least 5-7 years of professional experience as an auditor of IFRS consolidated financial statements of (listed) companies
  • Experience in the banking, asset management and/or the insurance industry an asset
  • Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented thinking
  • Dedicated and convincing personality with entrepreneurial spirit and relationship building ability
  • Professional working proficiency in German and English required
