The Nestlé System Technology Center in Orbe is Nestlé’s leading competence center for the design, development and deployment of Nestlé systems, offering expertise in machines, packaging, and products for in-home and out-of-home.
To complete our Machine Competence department, we are looking for a System Developer for beverage dispenser.
Your principal activities will be to build knowledge, develop and industrialize key technologies (cold system), from concept to mass production at Manufacturer, and validate the technical performance of the complete dispenser equipped with the key components.
You will take the responsibility to deliver technical system that will be integrated in complex dispenser project, and also execute the tests and validation of the complete dispenser.
Through your technical expertise, you will manage root cause analysis on failures and propose technical improvements.
Part of a Project core team, this role will let you apply your knowledge in the field to support the team, provide relevant technical guidance and deliver solutions to achieve the project goals, in response to business, customers and consumer needs.
Key responsibilities
  • Manage key component development project within technical requirements, performance, timing, cost, safety and in compliance with Nestlé Development Process.
  • Responsible for Development & Industrialization at Manufacturer of Key components (cold system…), follow-up of system launch
  • Coordinate integration of key components in the Dispenser and provide Technical assistance to markets and business
  • Set-up and propose customize parameters for the key components to fulfil dispenser performance
  • Define, organize and perform tests and validate the complete dispenser performance, identify root cause on failure and propose technical improvements
  • Coordinate and align on activity with the team members of the complete project and also external partners.
  • Provide hands-on technical assistance during production ramp-up of key components, and train markets for technical aspect of the machine
Education and experience
  • Engineering education (TS, BSc or MSc in mechanics, microtechnics, electronics or others engineering degree)
  • 4 to 7 years of R&D work experience in development and validation in mass-produced of technical system, ideally in cold system technology (compressor)
  • Degree in HVAC or equivalent certificate is a plus
  • Understanding of quality management systems in development and manufacturing in the industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of Experience in Project management of technical system
