The Nestlé Research Center (NRC) located near Lausanne, Switzerland is one of the leading research laboratories in food and nutritional sciences. Nestlé Research Center conducts up to 60 clinical trials in the areas of healthy nutrition, medical nutrition, metabolic disease, gastro-intestinal health amongst others. To complete our Nutrition and Health Research Department at our Nestlé Research Center in Vers-chez-les-Blanc (Switzerland) we are currently looking for a Specialist in Food Digestion, Nutrient Absorption and/or Motility.
As a Specialist in Digestion/Motility, your main responsibilities will be to provide new ideas & concepts in the field of Nutrition and digestive physiology particularly in infants and to translate scientific findings into business applications.
Education and experience
- PhD with post-doctoral experience and solid knowledge on Digestion/ motility physiology in particular in infants
- Expertise in preclinical and/or clinical research methodology
- Experience in conducting projects and coaching technicians
- Knowledge of nutritional interventions, and experience in food industry would be a plus
- Team player
- Fluent in English. Knowlegde in French would be a plus
