The Nestlé Research Center (NRC) located near Lausanne, Switzerland is one of the leading research laboratories in food and nutritional sciences. Nestlé Research Center conducts up to 60 clinical trials in the areas of healthy nutrition, medical nutrition, metabolic disease, gastro-intestinal health amongst others. To complete our Nutrition and Health Research Department at our Nestlé Research Center in Vers-chez-les-Blanc (Switzerland) we are currently looking for a Senior specialist in Immunolgy/Allergy.
As a Senior specialist in Immunolgy/Allergy, your main responsibilities will be to build and manage research activities in the mucosal immunology/allergyfield and translate scientific findings into business applications.
Provide up-to-date expertise in Immunology/Allergy
Manage projects (plan, execute, coordinate, communicate) and deliver in research activities
Set-up preclinical models and approaches and support the design of clinical studies
Coach and develop research assistants, technicians and peers
Participate to the development of research strategies in the Immunology/Allergy field and assist businesses in translation of scientific findings into applications and product development
Strengthen the internal and external network in the area of expertise
Education and experience
PhD with recognized scientific expertise in Immunology/Allergy
At least 5 years of experience in Research and Development
Experience in designing and running preclinical research and/or clinical trials
Experience in project management and stakeholders management
Fluent in English, solid written and oral communication skills
