As HR Business Partner you are responsible for the people agenda within our factory in Rorschach and the driving force behind Recruitment, People Development and execution of the People Strategies in your area.
 
Key responsibilities
 
  • Execution of the People Strategies and Plans, as well as HR initiatives
  • Coordinate all personal related activities / projects of the factory including external parties
  • Coordinate workforce planning for the factory.
  • Take care of recruitment, training and development activities
  • Shape the culture that facilitates Nestlé goals and initiatives through supporting and coaching line managers in their implementation of core people processes
  • Ensure performance and Talent Management
  • Pro-actively challenge the established organizational structure to drive superior performance
  • Act as catalyst / supporter of change management processes where appropriate
  • Coordinate delivery of HR Centers of Expertise and Centers of Scale Services
  • Ensure social compliance
  • Establish and maintain effective “win – win” working relationships with employees and their representatives through an environment that fosters communication
  • Be accountable for Health management and support Safety initiatives
  • Be responsible for internal communication
 
Education and experience
 
  • Excellent command of German (mother tongue a plus); professional fluency in English (French is a plus)
  • Master degree in HR or Psychology, Economics, Engineering, ideally with specialization in HRM
  • Successful HR related experience in an industrial environment (minimum 5 years) with ideally exposure to industrial relations
  • Sound knowledge of recruitment, compensation and talent management
  • Experience of implementing changes in organizations, continuous improvement initiatives and coaching
  • Excellent knowledge of the Swiss Labor regulatory framework
 
You will need to demonstrate a sense for initiative and have a focus on results with good communication skills, as well as strong insight and business acumen. In addition, you will need to demonstrate high capabilities in negotiating with various stakeholders and of bringing creative solutions in a highly dynamic and demanding environment.
