Panalpina has outsourced a substantial part of the finance acitivities to a third party supplier with global coverage.
We are looking to hire a Global Business Services Development Manager for Finance Shared Service Centers (m/f) who owns both the supplier relationship, the service management and delivery against the contract.


• Develop and manage the Financial Shared Service Centers (FSSC) outsourcing contract relationship
• Act as single point of contact for the supplier account leadership and delivery teams as well as for Panalpina Finance in Corporate/Region/Country for FSSC operations
• Manage operational, tactical and strategic governance from a business process outsourcing perspective
• Management of the outsourcing supplier contract and the relationship incl. target setting
• Drive and manage outsourcing excellence and performance management (operational and financial performance)
• Monitor business process outsourcing industry and gain further expertise to constantly review and benchmark financials and operations
• Challenge processes, costs and locations to ensure best service at best cost
• Set and manage outsourcing contract service level agreements (SLAs) together with Global Product owners (GPOs) while achieving profitability improvements and productive gains
• Lead service delivery strategy and execution across all locations where the services are provided
• Achieve outsourcing contract controllable expenses targets using the most appropriate principles, levers and tools
• Participate in solution design processes
• Initiate, lead or support further transition of processes to offshore delivery centers


• University Degree / technical high school and/or CPA
• Management experience on Senior level
• Deep understanding of financial and cost accounting
• Is familiar with entrepreneurial and strategic matters


• Proven leadership and project management skills
• Ability to prepare and work with reports
• Cost optimization oriented
• High degree of accountability, credibility and assertiveness
• Organizational skills
• Profound communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
