We are looking to hire a Corporate IT - Lead internal data communication platform (m/f) to manage, with the associated team, the corporate data repository solution which is instrumental to all our main applications.

This IT core solution offers to the main IT applications a seamless integration platform. This central service is based on a central data repository completed by a set of relevant data services, user interfaces, workflows, data consistency and quality checks, data reception and distribution logics, ... .

Responsibilities

* act both as a technical expert in given field as well as a leader who will take the full responsibility for ensuring the availability as well as the permanent extension of the solution
* leads a team of 3-5 internal and external IT development engineers
* manages all steps of application lifecycle from business requirements analysis to the delivery of the solution, including documentation and release management
* contribute to IT systems architecture and design discussions
* supports the implementation of key components of overall architecture

Qualifications

* Higher IT-Software engineering oriented education
* at least five years of experience in developing IT business application with a significant part in the application's integration world
* 2 years' experience in leading IT development team (2-5 people)
* excellent knowledge of Java/J2EE, MVC frameworks (Struts), Enterprise Integration Patterns as well as good knowledge of front-end stack (HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX, JQuery, other client-side frameworks)
* experience with high availability and high performance architectures (multi TBs data volumes, thousands of active users)
* Strong database knowledge (DML, DDL, physical data modeling, ...) and development skills with IBM Informix (DB2 is a plus)
* knowledge in enterprise messaging platforms like IBM MQ
* knowledge of IBM WebSphere application server
* Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (in areas of source control, work item tracking, build and deployment automation)
* Experience in project management
