Principal Change Manager

This is a highly visible position that requires strong strategic agility, collaboration, communication, facilitation skills and knowledge of the R&D and Safety / Risk management business and environment.
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities
-Collaborate with all stakeholders, as applicable, including IT, Regional Heads, Vendors, Change Managers in other groups and Global Affiliate Offices across Roche Pharma in order to identify and assign Change Champions and resources to audiences where there is perceived resistance or lack of understanding.
-Ensure business continuity and safety excellence for all deliverables within established timelines.
-Identify, support and coach “change champions” in their assigned tasks of rolling out change initiatives in their specific organization, team or group
-Ensure change management know-how is transferred to all leaders in Global Safety and applied consistently
-Oversee detailed stakeholder analyses and change impact assessment to apprise colleagues about the development of a change initiative.
-In close collaboration with Global HR Business Partner, ensure change initiative includes an HR plan, communication plan, training plan, change impact, resistance identification and according plan.
-Implement change initiative through the leaders in Global Safety, ensuring that risks associated with the change are identified and prioritized with concomitant mitigation strategies at the onset of change plan to resolve issues swiftly.
-Collaborate with the Global Safety Leadership Team to identify optimum communication channels and develop aligned change strategies that are in concert with individual stakeholder group needs.
-Consistently and proactively provide information to maintain the engagement of stakeholders across Roche Pharma.
-Collaborate within and outside Global Safety to ensure stakeholders across Roche Pharma are trained and have received aligned messaging regarding change management initiatives and plans.
-Develop, track and evaluate metrics that will enable the monitoring of change progress and performance.
-Perform a “Lessons Learned” exercise and efficiency checks after each change initiative that has been implemented.
We are looking for a professional with University degree (Master) in Business Administration, Organizational Development or related discipline required and 15 years + change management experience within a global matrix corporation or public sector organization, ideally operating within a highly regulated environment, delivering meaningful reputational, financial and operational benefits and experience in a management consultancy environment at a senior level may be an advantage.
Strongly desired: A relevant post-graduate qualification (e.g. MBA; Project Management certification) is highly desirable.
