Procurement is a key function at Roche. Through our purchasing processes, we identify opportunities to leverage and manage expenditures to third parties. These include direct expenditures in areas such as raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients and contract manufacturing, as well as indirect expenses such as clinical and research services, laboratory supplies, digital marketing, creative agencies and market research, consulting, temporary labor, travel, credit cards, facilities management, logistics and engineering.
As a strategic function, Procurement works closely with all Roche divisions and business units to better understand our business partners' needs help them deliver their goals and identify savings opportunities that can be reinvested into the business.
As the Change Management and Communications Team Member, you are part of the Program Management Office (PMO) for the Roche Procurement Committee (RPC), reporting to the Head of the PMO. The Roche Procurement Committee determines overall strategy and is the decision-making body for overarching Procurement topics that impact all five Procurement organizations within Roche: Diagnostics Direct, Diagnostics Indirect, Diabetes Care, IT and Global Pharma Procurement.
OneProcurement describes the way in which these organizations collaborate together to deliver overall value for Roche. The RPC PMO team supports the Roche Procurement Committee in driving the cross-divisional priorities for OneProcurement. As such the PMO is responsible to create transparency and structure for RPC decision-making and communications, and to support, monitor, and track the overarching Roche Procurement Committee portfolio of projects and initiatives.
In your role, you support the RPC PMO team to advise and deliver a change management and communication strategy that advances the business agenda and translates into value-adding communication. You will take an active and hands-on role for all things related to communication, organizational culture, and change management for the Roche Procurement Committee, its portfolio of projects and initiatives and relevant deployments teams.
Your responsibilities comprise the following aspects:
You have a degree in Business, Journalism, Communication or English and minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in corporate communication and/or change management within the Finance/Pharma industry, with understanding of finance/procurement topics preferred.
You are able to work cooperatively and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across a global organization, handle high workload and prioritize, adapt to changing requirements and environment and manage expectations efficiently and effectively.
You bring a pragmatic approach, calm under pressure and possess excellent relationship skills developed in a global environment.
