Roche Pharma Research & Early Development (pRED) is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will support the Translational Medicine group within the Immunology, Inflammation & Infectious Diseases (I3) DTA.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • managing the calendar and providing support to the Head of Translational Medicine I3
  • the administrative coordination of internal/external meetings, team meetings, video conferences, WebEx, interviews and others. You will also be involved in travel coordination including preparation of travel expense report as well as in coordinating seminars and visits of external guests and initiating iHCP forms
  • being point of contact for general requests involving the section (JAZ contact person, absence list, templates, distribution lists, theme numbers, catering, stationary and equipment orders) and supporting the onboarding of new hires; entry/management of data in various systems (Shareweb, Touchpoint (Sharepoint), PharmaRes, PlanSource, RADA)
  • raising Purchase Order requests and handle administration for external collaborations (fill out internal payment orders, approve invoices, update collaboration database, assist with agreement templates and drafts)
  • deputizing your admin colleagues

    Furthermore, you bring the following qualifications, skills and experience: 

    • commercial diploma (e.g. commercial apprenticeship or commercial college) or an equivalent qualification and have 3-5 years of work experience in a similar position
    • excellent Google Mail and Calendar, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,) and ARIBA skills
    • excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
    • strong communication skills and fluency in English and German, additional languages would be an advantage
