Student Internship in Device Development - Human Factors / Usabillity Engineering (from January 2017, 6-12 months)

Roche device development is focused on creating the next generation of medication delivery technologies. Within the device development function, the Human Factors Engineering team works with many other engineering disciplines to ensure that the devices developed are safe, effective and usable when used by patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals worldwide.
We are offering an internship for students with an interest in medical technology to work as an Industrial/ User experience/ Graphic Designer to support the development of drug delivery devices, instructional material and medical device software user interfaces. The successful candidate will support the human factors engineering group at Roche in developing safe, effective and usable medical devices.
You are currently studying a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in an applicable discipline, which may include human factors engineering, usability engineering, risk management and as a plus industrial / product design, user experience design, graphic design or user interface design.

The desired start date of the internship is January 2017 or upon availability - please clearly indicate your preferred starting date and duration (6-12 months) of the internship on your motivation letter.
