Production Trainer

The SWISS Technical Training is responsible for many sorts of different courses within the SWISS Technic and is therefore organizing up to 85 courses per month. The Production Training, as part of the Technical Training, is in charge to educate new engineers located in Zurich on safety and paperwork items. In addition to this are the Production Trainers the focal point for any issues related to tools and aircraft working procedures. We are looking for a Production Trainer, highly committed to his / her work, not making any compromises on safety or quality related issues.

Your Duties

  • Development, preparation and carrying out of work specific trainings (aircraft related, tools and ground support equipment) including respective paperwork
  • Supervising and supporting of students’ training progress and gives Practical demonstration of work and safe practices
  • Co-ordination aircraft availabilities for trainings purposes
  • Ad hoc assistance of Line Maintenance where technical problems with tools or processes requires the assistance of a Production Trainer
  • Responsible to establish and keep update official guidelines related to internal work procedures (excluding ALPM)
  • Review work related internal documents and advises of necessary corrections
  • Act as a SWISS EASA Part-145 Assessor
  • Assist engineers, where questions related to the application for a license arise and prepares respective syllabi and informs about correct syllabi handling processes

Requirements

  • Licensed Aircraft engineer with an active AML Part 66 B1 License and an authorization of SWISS aircraft types, additional B2 License is an advantage
  • Part-147 practical trainer/assessor & instructor experience is an advantage
  • EASA Part-66, 145, M, AMOS, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS Trainings
  • Willingness to work, if necessary, in different shifts
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in aircraft aviation industry in a similar function are an advantage
  • Diploma in professional training is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge in English and German combined with excellent communication skills
  • Good team player
  • Valid driving license
