Operations Planning is responsible for the planning process of cockpit and cabin crew from long term planning to the day of operation. Our mission is to provide planning services to manage crew productivity and crew satisfaction in the most effective way. Systems Management and Business Intelligence is a small team of IT-system experts who supports the planning departments with integrated and sophisticated Crew Management Systems (CMS).

Your Duties

  • Ensures reliability, efficiency and compliance of all Crew Management Systems (CMS) in the process of crew planning and - control
  • Supports Operations Planning departments in achieving efficient crew planning and - control as well as high crew productivity by suitable business processes and aligning the CMS with business processes
  • Leads IT- and business projects in Operations Planning
  • Monitors performance and quality of planning services by suitable management information systems and key performance indicators
  • Representing SWISS in aviation association conferences and expert groups
  • Supports SWISS management and participates in negotiations with unions in Operations Planning and productivity matters
  • Leads, manages and develops personnel to ensure the required expert knowledge


  • Master degree in applied sciences with further education in computer sciences (or equivalent)
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Good German and English in verbal communication and writing
  • Experience in business process analysis and using optimization solvers
  • Highly analytical and conceptual skills
  • Powers of comprehension and problem solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills, communicative and able to motivate people
  • High integrity, confidentiality, loyalty and initiative
  • Pronounced team ability
