The successful candidate will participate in a challenging PhD programme (www.pef.unisg.ch) and participate in teaching and research of the econometrics & sports economics team of Professor Michael Lechner.
In addition to an excellent master degree in economics or a related field, strong quantitative and programming skills are important. Furthermore, the candidate's research interests should be in econometrics (incl. Big Data and machine learning), sports economics, labour economics, or health economics.
