The University of St.Gallen MBA Programme is seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of Talent Acquisition and Development.

The University of St.Gallen MBA is recognised as one of Europe's leading MBA programmes. Our MBA recruits candidates from around the world that seek to transform their career prospects, a pre-requisite for which is often substantial personal growth. Candidates are mainly placed in Switzerland and Germany, but also in wider Europe and beyond. The role is based in St.Gallen but involves travel within Switzerland. English is the operational language of our MBA.
Head of Talent Acquisition and Development (100%)
The successful applicant will lead a small, dynamic and highly committed team and will have the opportunity to work with high demanding MBAs as well as senior business and HR management in the corporate world.

Your tasks:
  • Strategic planning of the personal development, corporate outreach, and recruiting initiatives of our MBA programme;
  • Strategic development and maintenance of the corporate partner network and recruiting companies;
  • Strategic planning of annual recruitment cycle;
  • Capable of meeting employment targets for our MBA graduates;
  • Capable of meeting demanding recruitment targets and pipeline management;
  • Responsible for identifying employment market trends, corporate recruiting needs and the implementation of this into the programmes;
  • Responsible for market research and competitor analysis;
  • Management of the team and responsibility for budget;
  • Counsel students on difficult career situations and professional development.
Your profile:
  • Minimium 10 years of professional experience, preferably in talent development in the private sector, related consulting roles, and corporate recruiting;
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and coaching a team as well as collaboration across departments;
  • Experience in business development and/or consulting; • Strong sales and customer service skills;
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking combined with hands-on and pragmatic implementation skills;
  • Preferably highly networked in Swiss business and/or multinationals in Europe;
  • Independent, committed, pro-active and results-oriented way of working;
  • Ability to deliver and match high standards under pressure;
  • Outstanding communication and persuasion skills;
  • Capability in uniting and motivating diverse teams and building synergies over different teams/departments;
  • Willingness to work on evenings and some weekends;
  • A very good command of English and German in writing and speaking.
