Your responsibilities

As trusted advisor and ambassador of Private Banking you will identify and analyse the specific needs of your customers, design innovative solutions, and mobilize the necessary internal and external sources beyond the fields of your own competence. In this role as facilitator, coordinator and negotiator you maintain an on-going dialogue with representatives from the different business lines of the bank and external specialists. You are actively promoting the specific value propositions of the bank. This position requires regular travelling to the market under your stewardship, so as to keep close market and customer proximity. Your performance will be primarily measured by the growth of your customer base, the assets under management and the return achieved on it. You will become part of a multi-cultural team of Private Banking professionals recruited from all over the world.

Your identity

You are a high profile banker with a robust education and at least five years of practical exposure to Private Banking in an international environment. You may have a background in corporate- or investment banking, but moved to Wealth Management some time ago. A thorough understanding of the culture and business behaviours in the region under your coverage is equally important as your established network of relationships in the upper class customer segment. You have outstanding marketing- and sales skills as evidenced by your impressive track record of sustained customer and business generation. You are not a product seller, but an innovative and creative solution provider. As such you have exceptional listening and analytical skills, are able to structure and implement tailor-made solutions, and to create and build long term relationships of mutual trust. You are fluent in English and have a solid understanding of the language in your defined market territory. You master the latest information technology, are savvy in the use of social media and have excellent interpersonal skills. You are already a Swiss resident or ready to settle down in Switzerland. Holders of a Swiss or European passport are given preferential treatment for working permit considerations. Your capacity to source substantial new assets from your well established network is more important than to transfer funds from existing customers.
