YOUR CHALLENGE
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day management and oversight of a number of complex trust/foundation/company mandates
  • Key Client responsibility
  • Analysis and management of situations involving potentially high commercial (fiduciary) risk, using technical knowledge and exercising sound judgement
  • Working closely with WP Specialists and other colleagues, particularly in relation to fiduciary risk management and conformity with Group and industry practices and standards
  • Lead Trust Administration Team and coaching and develop team members (including training of Apprentice)
  • Deputy to Head Structure Management
  • Management of WP related projects with full responsibilty for organisational aspects, achieving miles stones, reporting to WP Management Committee
  • Play a leading role in responding to regulatory developments, in particular the likely regulation of the fiduciary sector in Switzerland
  • Uphold sound working practices to the satisfaction of key internal and external stakeholders/regulators (FINMA, local regulators where applicable, Legal & Compliance, internal and external auditors)
  • Perform the timely completion of Investment Reviews, Annual Reviews, Key Issues, Financial Statements
  • Handle new business enquiries working flexibly with colleagues in all departments
  • Board Member of Trust Committee and various Services Companies
  • Occasional travel activities
REQUIREMENTS
  • 10 or more years of wealth management or other relevant working experience
  • Broad working knowledge and experience of trust/foundation/company administration practices, tax and estate planning, financial planning, accounting, banking and investments
  • Long term experience in people management
  • Uptodate on requirements of FATCA and CRS
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and listening - with the ability to express things simply and directly, maintaining a focused and controlled discussion
  • Flexible consensus builder, employing a straightforward and honest style. Able to quickly establish credibility and instil trust and confidence
  • Consistently demonstrates commitment to and complete understanding of professional, ethical and legal standards
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with reputation for seeking innovative approaches to problem solving and strategic development
  • High level of drive and energy, making contribution with conviction and confidence
  • German mother tongue preferred, English (oral/written) other languages (preferably French or Spanish) are an advantage
  • Proactive, commercial and innovative to servicing both internal and external clients
  • Team player, always seeks to balance the interests of the business unit with the wider interests of the Group
  • Accustomed to working with other cultural/language environments
  • Analytical, proactive, creative, service-oriented and entrepreneurial
