Research technicians in biotechnology
We are looking forhighly qualified and motivated technicians (junior and senior) to develop a wirelessly powered bio-electronic cell-based implant. The candidate is expected to take on a leading role in the development of stable cell line using viral vectors based gene delivery technics to integrate optogenetic components.
This is a full time position, starting February 1st, 2017. The position is for 3 years.
You havecompleted a degree in biology (Bachelor’s/Master’s) or as solid experience as a lab assistant/technician. You have an interest in medical devices development and cell-based therapies. An excellent understanding of cell biology including knowledge and experience in molecular biology is expected. Creativity and curiosity are your strong assets to collaborate in the bioelectronic implant assembly process (3D printing, optoelectronic, cell chamber...).
Basic electronic skills or experience in integrated lab automation platform is an advantage. The successful candidate is highly motivated and can work independently in a multidisciplinary team environment. Good communication skills in oral and written English are essential.
