  • Responsibility for the mandate from the Board of Directors Risk Committee and the maintenance of organizational independence from the business units, credit origination, sanction, and administration functions

  • The Execution of its objectives through a combination of Cycled Reviews and continuous Monitoring activities in order to evaluate the quality and transparency of the credit analysis and ratings assigned by the Bank for regulatory and capital purposes
  • The Evaluation of activities of lending and transaction support personnel in Credit Risk and Front Office, ensuring compliance with policies, approvals, monitoring and risk assessment and review credit risk practices including CS Credit Rating, Transaction Ratings and adherence to relevant policies
    Identification of credit exposures with potential credit weakness and any relevant trends that may affect collectability and existing and/or emerging issues and assessment of the effectiveness of credit risk management
  • Execution of continuous and periodic risk-based review programs for all portfolios in Switzerland as directed and identify portfolio trends at the sector/industry level and provide senior management and the Board with an objective assessment of the Switzerland portfolio

You Offer
 
  • 5-8+ years of experience in credit risk
  • Comprehensive understanding of Credit Ratings and Transaction Ratings
  • In-depth knowledge of Investment Banking, Wealth Management and Private Banking products
  • Good understanding of counterparty credit risk will be an advantage
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field of study
  • Strong negotiation, oral and written communication skills in German and English
  • Solution orientated
  • Ability to handle a significant and diverse workload
  • Ability to accept accountability, assume leadership and demonstrate initiative
  • Partnership mentality with respect to rest of Credit Suisse enterprise
