SB - PhD position in Numerical Simulation of Aluminum Electrolysis
The group of Professor Marco Picasso at the Mathematics
Institute of Computational Science and Engineering is active in
the field of numerical methods for partial differential equations.
The group is searching for a PhD student to develop efficient
numerical models for Aluminum electrolysis in an industrial
framework. Fluid mechanics, Maxwell’s equations and finite
element methods will be involved. We are looking for a highly
motivated student with Master degree in Applied Mathematics,
Computational Science, Physics or Mechanics.
