Overall OD:
•Identify / diagnose organization development needs for Novartis, define interventions and manage implementation of cutting edge OD practices and solutions in line with business needs, HR strategy and OD strategy in collaboration with OD teams in divi-sions/units, HR Heads/HRBPs and business leaders (manage and execute diagnos-tics to measure OD-related business needs, plan actions, track progress)
•Provide high-level OD expertise to TOP LT (Talent & Organizational Performance Leadership Team), HR Heads/HRBPs and business leaders on culture, org design, employee engagement and change management related topics (e.g. OD workshops, coaching, etc.) with OD leads in divisions/units, HR Heads/HRBPs and business leaders
•Build dialogue between different parts of the organization in order to diagnose or-ganizational issues and plan actions

Organization Health/Culture Development
•Guide / manages culture initiatives based on the Novartis Values and Behaviours
•Manage key initiatives and projects such as implementation and monitoring on NVS’ organization health/engagement survey, including employee and pulse surveys, re-porting and analytics and coordinated action planning
•Collaborate closely with HR teams, and external vendors and providers of Organiza-tional consulting, OD practices and solutions

Change Management
•Consult with OD Head, HR Leadership team and business leaders on managing change, brings innovative ideas and solutions
•Key role in supporting the business on Change Management approaches and activi-ties

HR Capability (OD)
•Make a substantial impact on HR capability building to support the organization de-velopment strategies and programs across NVS making Novartis HR the partner of choice to design business models and organizational structures
•Support the build-up of capability/skills for business leaders and the HR organization in areas OD expertise (e.g. change management skills, organizational design, culture, team effectiveness, employee engagement, organization climate, etc.)
•Stimulate interaction and actively contribute ideas & solutions to the global HR community on OD topics to improve HR capability
Minimum requirementsUndergraduate degree or equivalent; MBA or Master s degree
•Minimum 7-10 years OD experience, ideally support-ed by broader HR and/or consulting experience
•Strong experience with senior executive engagement and facilitation, strong influencing ability through consulting, communication and relationship building skills
•Proven analytical and conceptual skills, combined with ability to implement
•Knowledge and experience with change management methodologies, OD and (successful) global project management
•Known for strong collaboration and networking with the broader HR community and other stakeholder
•Very strong consulting, communication and relationship building skills.
•Strong project leadership
•Facilitation, coaching and cross-cultural communication skills
•Ability to network with and influence senior HR and line leaders
•Track record of successfully supporting large-scale, organization-wide global projects and changes (
