Furthermore you will support roughly 300+ researches and an area of roughly 6000m2 in-vivo space and oversee the programs of multi species and multi buildings.

- Providing outline & guidance for both current & future site related in-vivo programs and in-vivo strategy
- LAS processes, quality and efficiency which includes to provide analysis and bench-marks to determine optimal site layout and to improve processes
- Recognize and remove obstacles that impede or prevent success on execution of LAS programs
- Ensure that in-vivo programs are compliant with internal and external AWC and HSE/BC guidelines, regulations & policies
- Review, analyze and guide LAS staff management & career development
- Perform other duties in respect to animal research as may required
Minimum requirements- PhD or Master in veterinary, medical or biological education with in-vivo research background
- Minimum experimental status (VD)
- Significant experience in senior level laboratory animal care program management
- Business-level/advanced English and at least intermediate German; French is advantageous
- Used to collaborating successfully with various stakeholders and teams of expert scientific and support staff at all levels
- Very strong interpersonal and leadership skills; demonstrated ability to influence; used to fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect
- Proven track record of leading (via line and matrix management) and coaching/developing multiple diverse teams within the unit you are responsible for
- A creative and innovative approach with a sharp and objective intellect, experienced balancing strategic thinking with detailed analysis
- Proven planning and organizational skills in a complex and diverse environment
