Content Strategist

You will join the dynamic Global Learning & Technology team based in Philip Morris International Management SA in Lausanne.

The Global Learning & Technology team’s primary objective is to provide inspiring learning experiences for our people to develop the capabilities they need to enable PMI’s future.


  • Develop the overall content strategy for the Global Learning & Technology team
  • Define what content is for our business in order to achieve the teams’ objectives
  • Understand and define our key audiences and their respective needs
  • Define a story and the structure of a story for our learning organization
  • Reflect on and define subject categories or classification for content
  • Develop content sourcing plans both directly and indirectly
  • Create content - includes copywriting, asset production, tagging/classifying, content optimization, proofreading/editing/fact-checking
  • Curate content from within and without the organization, and explore the feasibility of outsourcing this task
  • Explore the feasibility and benefits of implementing a content management system, including conducting a thorough investigation of the market

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (in writing or content related field strongly preferred)
  • Professional writing experience in an agency-like setting
  • Prior experience as an online content strategist/producer or directly related experience strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and networking skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Able to work independently, solve problems and translate complex business requirements into actionable project goals
  • Good attention to detail with strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Photoshop and video editing software is an asset
