We have an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate CMK team focusing on Media Analytics and Insights, at the 2 ndlevel managerial level in Geneva. Your focus will be Media Analytics and Insights for two major regions for P&G, i.e. Europe as well as India, Middle East and Africa. You will be a substantial player as we build strong Media muscles for the company in those regions, shaping the direction P&G takes on Media, and deeply understanding how to best reach and communicate with our consumers in Media, leveraging your proven skills in Media Analytics.
As you will be working in the global Corporate CMK team, you will also have opportunities to learn and participate in important global projects, experiments and pilots on Media Analytics beyond your geographical focus. If you have experience in the Media space, preferably as Media or Data Analyst working in a Media Agency, in a Market Research Agency, at a Publisher or on the client side at a FMCG company, this is the opportunity for you to join forces with the biggest Advertiser globally, to shape the direction of the P&G business, reaching more consumers at the right time and the right frequency, and driving our brands to further growth through Media Insights.
Through this and beyond that as you further progress your career at P&G, you will learn to elicit and deliver data-driven consumer and shopper insights. You will become the expert in understanding consumers and enable others to leverage the consumer insights and category drivers in strategic choices. You will work with multifunctional teams including brand teams, R&D, finance and sales as the consumer expert and advocate, providing guidance on the WHO (the target consumers habits, motivations…), the WHAT (the best product, communication, packaging…) and the HOW (how to reach consumers in the most effective way) to drive sales and market share growth. You will lead learning plans to address business needs and objectives.
We are seeking an individual with a genuine interest in people and their behaviors, an intense curiosity and passion to understand why people behave as they do - and a desire to drive those insights to action to develop winning brand strategies & win with our consumers and shoppers at our key retailers. You will combine this deep understanding with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data come to life and “tell a story”, so that internal and external partners can internalize the learning and act upon it. Your inquisitive approach will enable continuous learning, while your strong passion, leadership and collaborative skills will enable your team to quickly turn the insights into action.
We are looking for
Min. University Bachelor degree qualification
At least two, preferably three to five years of experience as Media Analyst in either Media Agencies, Market Research Agencies, Publishers or FMCG companies, driven by your passion, skills and experience to deeply understand quantitative data, their patterns, your ability to derive actionable Media Insights and influence key stakeholders in Marketing/Media and other players to follow your recommendations
Excellent level of English
Genuine Passion for consumers, especially for developing regions (curious to learn, to develop the gut feel, to spend time with consumers in their real life environment)
Strong leader who can envision new "ways to win", set direction and engage others.
Strong thinking and direction setting skills, creativity, initiative, follow-through, communication, bias for action, agility and flexibility.
Candidate who enjoys working with and influencing diverse business partners and culturally diverse teams.
Candidate must already have a valid permit to live and work in Switzerland or the EU.
