  • Contribute to the Business Unit strategy as a member of the BU leadership team
  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy, incl. product segment architecture, product segment strategies and product roadmaps across the total Beauty Care portfolio of UV filters, Vitamins, Polymers and actives
  • Continue developing and building the global marketing organization and people
  • Ensure alignment of the Application & Development with the marketing roadmaps, concepts and demands and that exchange of information is properly organized
  • Lead the senior marketing managers of the different product groups as well as the regional marketing managers
  • Support and contribute to technical due diligence
  • Manage special projects
  • Direct the short, mid and long term BU program areas, comprising internal development, external collaborations, in-licensing and acquisition of product innovations
  • Responsible for business and product related innovation projects
  • Maintain an internal and external network to recognize new business opportunities
  • Master degree in business, economy, chemistry or related area
  • Several years working experience in an international company
  • +10 years experience in cosmetics or flavors & fragrances industry in at least two geographies, preferably Asia and EMEA or North America
  • Experience in Business Development and Key Account Management
  • Understanding of the full Beauty care portfolio (i.e. expertise on UV filters, Vitamins, Polymers and active ingredients)
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and capacity to translate into action
  • Experience in customer relations
  • Excellent sense for marketing and business aspects
  • Very good understanding of regulatory requirements, patent and IP related issues
  • Outstanding knowledge of cost calculation methods, financial estimates of investments and business case calculations
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proven leadership skills in a changing environment
  • Passion for the beauty care industry
  • Strong intercultural, interpersonal and communicative skills
