Role Purpose

  • Opportunity Generation:  Identify, generate and develop profitable sales opportunities across their account set by gaining a thorough understanding of their customers’ short, medium and long term requirements.
  • Customer Relationships:  Develop relationships within customers that develop long-term value for both Colt and the customer.
  • Colt Leadership: Embrace Colt’s strategic push on the components that enable the Information Delivery Platform and lead this push into the market to ensure we achieve growth.
  • Campaign Leadership:  Lead and direct all aspects ofstrategic sales opportunities within allocated accounts.
  • Ensure account development plans are complete and current for their accounts to support the achievement of high-penetration of Colt's portfolio.
  • People ManagementResponsible for day-to-day management of resources under their direct control to ensure service excellence is maintained.
  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Financial Management.Meet and exceed budget targets and provide and actively encourage a continual focus on growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Builds, develops and maintains relationships with existing and potential new customers, focusing on sales of network & voice solutions over longer sales cycles in order to achieve high revenue and profit growth for Colt
  • Penetrates the client organisation across all business divisions at C level to create demand for Colt transformational, managed infra structure propositions
  • Manage colt`s enterprise team that plans, develops, designs, negotiates and delivers high value, information delivery solutions which contribute to the clients strategic business development
  • Leads process in deal qualification, proposal, negotiation, closure and resourcing
  • Ownership of the strategy and the relationship within the specific named Target Market accounts.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Resilient, highly proactive / Team leader
  • Sound knowledge of the market he /she operates in and business drivers
  • An understanding of key issues within the relevant sectors (finance, media, technology, etc,)
  • Excellent communications skills (written, presentational and inter-personal) at all levels
  • Good planning, organisational and time managementskills
  • Good contacts across the market/sector he/she operates in
  • Record of consistent over achievement of new business targets
  • Excellent strategic sales skills developed through anextensive sales experience in selling high value service solutions to the relevant market/sector
  • Good business level knowledge of relevant IT infra structures/platforms; current industry trends and ability to influence decision making criteria
  • Exceptional communications skills, ability to forge long lasting internal and external relationships
