Role Purpose

  • Builds, develops and maintains relationship with existing and potential new customers, focusing on sales of network solutions and services in order to meet booking and revenue targets.

Key Accountabilities

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts in the segment of Wholesale, mainly
  • focusing on selling network solution and services
  • Implements and executes agreed sales strategy for targeted
  • accounts/prospects
  • Provides cross functional support and feeds-back market intelligence to
  • enable tactical and strategic responses for key Segments and Accounts
  • Identifies and evaluates customers' current and future telecommunication
  • requirements, making recommendations for solutions and ensuring that
  • the customer's focus is the driving force behind all activities
  • Conducts face to face (client) meetings where appropriate; delivering presentations
  • Builds and works in true partnership with clients to build and maintain
  • relationships which meet both the customer's goals as well as COLT's
  • Represent and promote COLT and its products/services in a professional
  • manner
  • Comply with COLT processes and generally champion best practice
  • Reports accurately on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis on sales
  • results, forecast and pipeline
  • Building a qualified pipeline to cover 6-12 months rolling period.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Excellent sales skills developed through at least five years' sales
  • experience probably in a service business
  • Strong qualification skills
  • Existing personal network with contacts within the target accounts
  • Professional Pipeline and Forecast-management
  • At least five years' experience of the telecommunications market and/or
  • IT-Outsourcing market with good knowledge of Value Added Network
  • Services and existing pipeline for 2016
  • Excellent influence and communication skills (written, presentational and inter-personal)
  • Good planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Result oriented with high commitment, resilience and a positive attitude
  • Professional appearance and a level of 'presence' to gain acceptance at
  • Board level
  • Being a leader and taking on ownership beside organigram and hierarchy
  • Team-Player with a “hands on- mentality “Highly motivated to go the „Extra mile“ to win
  • Innovative and creative approach to solve problems
  • Always eager to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast moving and changing environment
  • Fluent in German (Swiss German preferred) and English. French welcome but not mandatory
