Senior Sales Executive   - Data Insights & Data Platform

We are looking for data enthusiasts with knowledge in the financial services or pharma industry.
We have two positions open.
As a Data Platform - Senior Sales Executive you will be a senior solution sales leader within our enterprise sales organization working with our most important customers.   You will lead a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly SQL Server and Azure data services revenue and usage/consumption targets in your assigned accounts.   You will be able to deeply engage with your accounts, helping them take advantage of our unique hybrid data platform to make their digital transformation.
By helping your customers achieve their business goals, through a thorough understanding of their strategies, financial drivers and line of business tactics, you can exceed your sales goals. You will understand their organization and be able to bring value to the highest level of its leadership.   Using this information, you will develop, communicate and prove high business impact solutions that enable the customer to achieve their objectives. This approach will result in a large data platform solutions pipeline including analytics (Big Data, BI and Advanced Analytics) and mission critical solution wins.   You will maintain and develop a positive Customer and Partner Experience (CPE) that can be leveraged in future sales engagements.
Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:
8+ years’ experience selling business solutions to large/global enterprise customers with a focus on data platform technologies.
Effective account management: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline management, large dollar licensing and deal negotiation.
Experience and expertise selling to senior business decision makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria.
Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and platform competitor landscape
Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
Orchestrate and influence virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities and lead v-teams through influence
Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred, or equivalent experience.
Fluency in German and English are essential
