Area Sales Manager (m/f)
Can you unlock the potential of distributors and retailers?
This role reports directly to the Managing Director of the company. Looking after several countries (Scandinavia, Benelux, UK, USA etc.) with a portfolio of various customers (distributors, big retail chains, online shops), you hunt and farm with your excellent sales skills, tenacity and knowledge in the (small domestic appliances[SDA]) industry in order to build new and strengthen existing relationships. Growing is the goal, therefore you constantly look for new opportunities. Planning, acquisition, demonstration, staff training, negotiation and closing of sales will be part of your daily activities in order to meet goals of an ambitious business plan. With your positive and entrepreneurial mindset you see chances and opportunities, communicate concise with your internal and external stakeholders with strong result orientation and appetite for success in profitable sales growths.
You are a successful sales person with a proven track record. A winning person, an ice-breaker with strong conceptual skills. You like to work independently, a self-starter with a background in B2B, ideally in the retail or SDA industry, experienced to work with distributors and retailers worldwide in the premium segment. Your are positive and confident with a great ability to build relationships and a “can do“ mentality. Working from home-office, you will travel a minimum of 50% within primarily Europe but also overseas (USA, Canada) as well as to the head office in Switzerland. English is essential and any additional language a strong benefit.
