To support our successful team in Switzerland we are looking for a

Quality, Health and Safety Manager

As responsible for the quality and security you will find in the position a broad challenge and excellent

development possibilities.

Your mission

You are located in the region (Bern) and you secure the QHSE services and implementation in all


You steer, develop and support the regional leadership team to achieve the required standards.

Your tasks

 Taking ownership of the integrated process and quality management system (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC

20000-1, IKS and in future ISO 27001-, as well as supplier, customer and legal requirements).

 Reporting to the board of SPIE Switzerland and deliver proposals for the continual process

improvement, quality and health indicators.

 Responsible for the integration and consolidation of the different Quality Management systems in

SPIE Switzerland

 Plan and support in external and internal audits (certification companies, institutions, supplier and

customers) and execution of internal audits and reviews.

 You create internal standards to ensure the continuity of the achieved certifications and you coach

the responsible in each organization

 You ensure all occupational injuries/illnesses, dangerous occurrences, incidents and customer

claims are fully investigated and reported with findings and recommendations for preventive action

and corrective action where appropriate

 Establish effective working relationships with all local management to positively promote, encourage

and sustain a genuine commitment to effective QHSE management

 Implement best practices, deploy QHSE tools and work directly with line management, adopt a

“hands on” approach to the development and implementation of local solutions

 Participate in Global QHSE Network and ensure full implementation of the group initiatives

Your skills

 Able to work with, coach and train fellow managers and other staff to help them understand and

implement quality management requirements and improvements

 Business and customer focus

 Confident and professional ability to make presentations to customers, suppliers and staff.

 Can take the initiative and make change happen

 Planning and target setting

 Good written and verbal communication in French, German and English

 Educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline or equivalent

 Three or more years’ experience of QHSE preferably in a services environment.

 Sound experience of achieving quality improvements including the use of lean techniques

 Experience of working with customers and suppliers to improve quality
