In this position you will support Partners Group’s Private Equity Directs team in Zug with responsibilities across all aspects of private market investments, including sourcing, execution, related financings, on-going monitoring and divestitures.
Your tasks will include:
Sourcing of investment opportunities from your network, investment partners, advisors and other industry contacts
Performing due diligence processes on prospective investments
Drafting and presenting internal investment recommendation documents
Modeling business plans and LBO structures and returns
Assisting senior colleagues in the negotiation of transaction documentation
Supporting portfolio companies throughout the investment period (planning, execution and monitoring of value creation initiatives)
Conducting various tasks related to product reporting, market research and marketing efforts

The successful candidate should demonstrate:
Top academic credentials
3-5 years of work experience with a leading industry player in private equity, M&A, leverage finance or management consulting
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
Proficiency in LBO modeling and in drafting of investment proposals
Superior organizational competence (planning, scheduling, coordinating and time man-agement)
Excellent teamwork skills within international settings
Excellent language skills (proficient) in English and French
A strong desire to learn and succeed, along with impeccable work ethic, professional demeanor and appearance
