To strengthen our Purchasing Department based in Triesen/Liechtenstein (550 employees), we are looking for a Head of Purchasing.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The jobholder manages the purchasing teams in Liechtenstein and Switzerland while ensuring a smooth transition, stabilization and future development of the new operating model for purchasing functions.
Your responsibilities will include first, to design, implement and supervise the local purchasing / operative sector and to drive the harmonization and standardization of policies, processes and roles as well as system based ordering to set up compliant and reliable purchasing process. In this role, you will have to handle with the following main tasks:
Communicate the added value of professional purchasing processes and procurement overall to the businesses and provide an excellent service to all business partners.
Implement, stabilize and transform the new operational Purchasing organization in close cooperation with the business and the Global Business Services (GBS).
Coordinate and align processes between the Global Business Services, the retained local purchasing organization Liechtenstein/Switzerland and other purchase organizations, e.g. Austria.
Contribute significantly to the alignment of roles and purchasing processes with the local purchasing organizations.
Set up and track KPIs / SLAs for the local purchasing organizations as well as for the remote services delivered by the GBS.
Deliver best practice solutions and achievements through professional change management
(e.g. Procurement System Transformation)
Furthermore, the jobholder is responsible to coordinate between the Global Business Services in Poland, the purchasing organization in Austria and the local / strategic organizations:
Accountable for purchasing of indirect spend (Marketing & Communication, IT & Services, Consulting & HR, Logistic & Services, Facility Management, Print, Office Services), direct spend (Packaging) and Capex (Facility Management).Ensure the continuous development of the system based ordering processes
Responsible for acceptance tests for new development and approve catalogues
Reduce the maverick spend and support the increase of the automation significantly
Build up continuously maintain and transfer the local/regional market know how of suppliers and services
Identify, assign and manage local and global suppliers in co-operation with the responsible Material Group Manager
Conduct negotiations and be in charge of claim management and implement global contracts in the assigned responsibility.
Manage the respective budgets/forecasts and reports
Member of the Corporate Procurement Management Team
WHAT WE EXPECT
To fulfill these tasks, we expect a person with a master degree and 8-10 years of professional experience in a multinational company including at least 3 years as a purchasing manager. You have knowledge of purchasing services and non-traditional procurement category groups with strong background in SAP MM and EBP/SRM.
You are a natural leader who brings a solid experience in team management and feels comfortable in a matrix environment, rounded by a deep understanding of a company’s value chain and the key performance drivers. In addition, you are focused and results-oriented and you easily build relationship with all hierarchy levels.
You are capable to initiate and manage change processes, diplomatic in style, capable to deal with ambiguity and at the same time pragmatic in execution and implementation. Fluency in German & English is required.
