Senior Automotive Account Manager / French and Italian Markets - Synaptics Europe

productive, secure and enjoyable. In the course of specifically building automotive business, we are

looking for a senior sales person primarily focused on the French and Italian markets.

Senior Automotive Account Manager

Human Interface Solutions, French and Italian Markets

The Senior Automotive Account Manager will report to the Sales Director for EMEA and will be a part of

the Synaptics worldwide sales team. He/She will take full accountability for automotive customers in

France and Italy, will be responsible for commercialising an excellent opportunity and achieving the

strategic objective of significant market share. The person will be based in Lausanne, Switzerland or

locally and will interact primarily with automotive customers, FAE’s, engineering, marketing, quality,

manufacturing, the WW sales team and the Synaptics executive team.

This role requires someone with a tenacious, focused and driven attitude towards business and strategic

account development. He/She must be a senior leader and comfortable in a hands-on selling environ-

ment taking responsibility for the success of the sector.

Expected qualifications:

 Bachelor degree or equivalent with strong technical background;

 8 plus years of strategic sales experience in the Automotive sector;

 Hands on experience managing customer relationships including experience establishing and build-

ing relationships with strategic influencers and executives;

 Ability to identify and manage customer expectations well;

 Team player with demonstrated accomplishments in building strong cross-functional relationships

on all levels, both internally and externally;

 Excellent written and verbal skills in English, knowing French and/or Italian is an asset.

In addition to excellent customer service, communication and presentation skills, the candidate is ex-

pected to be entrepreneurial, self-motivated and goal oriented. A dynamic personality, owning his/her

accounts on all levels, motivating others and able to drive initiatives with the internal support teams

would be the perfect fit.
