Junior Trade & Online Marketing Specialist


The Role:

Our Zurich team is looking for a team player with both strong communication skills and an excellent analytical ability to support our Swiss Sales & Marketing team in the management of online content and marketing tasks in relation to our channel partners.

As a Junior Trade & Online Marketing Specialist you will work within the Swiss Marketing team to help communicate new products across our channel partners and to help support the distribution of product information and marketing assets across our focus channel partners online and offline.

In your role you will be working closely with the Marketing Manager Switzerland and the Head of Marketing DACH to track and drive the execution quality of the implementation of assets like product images, videos and other rich content. In your role you are responsible as well to drive campaigns for events, offers and new product launches and deliver the implementation of account marketing plans.

This opportunity will offer a unique insight into the processes behind E-commerce platforms and the link of offline and online marketing efforts which are invested into a product launch and the maintenance of the overall product portfolio.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the launch of new products on online partner websites
  • Continue to track and improve the execution of the overall portfolio
  • Gather the required information from different stakeholders and platforms and communicate this information to accounts and channel partners
  • Highlight and drive best practices for online content execution
  • Drive online and offline campaigns with channel partners
  • Control & improve online execution
  • Monitor and report the performance of focus channel partners in terms of product page content and execution
  • Provide solutions and help improve the process of creating and delivering product information for online retailers
  • Look for trends happening online and offline in Switzerland as well as in Germany and Austria
  • Develop Social Media campaigns together with retail partners around events and happenings
  • Control and maintain internal tools (planning templates, etc.)
  • Update and create Marketing keynotes and product presentations

Your Skills:

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Business school degree with focus on Marketing / Digital marketing and Analytics
  • Trade marketing and sales understanding
  • Excellent analytical skills, expert with MS Excel
  • Communication, presentation, interpersonal and team-oriented skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
  • Preferably a basic understanding of HTML coding.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English required and an excellent level of German preferred. Any other European language would be an asset.
