AO Clinical Investigation and Documentation (AOCID)conducts multi-centre clinical studies to document the safety and effectiveness of fracture treatment in the field of medical device, promotes the application of evidence-based orthopaedic surgery by research and educational activities.

We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our team in
Davos/Dübendorf, Switzerland,as:

Senior Project Manager Clinical Operations

After a careful training phase, you will take full responsibility for the planning and management of international clinical studies within the agreed framework and legal guidelines. In addition you will be trained for taking over special projects with educational character.

You will:

  • Prepare, coordinate and conduct site initiation visits, monitoring visits and site close-out visits
  • Lead, support and coach the Clinical Research Associate as well as any future employee joining the team
  • Evaluate the study data and prepare/develop the Final Study Reports
  • Develop and adapt Clinical Investigation Plans, Case Report Forms and documents for ethics commission submission
  • Compile and archive study documents, review study budgets and periodically inform the sponsor on quality-related study data
  • Enter and validate clinical data and control its quality
  • Evaluate and interpret the clinical data in collaboration with the Medical Statistician, the Medical Advisor and the Medical Writer
  • Develop and submit abstracts and scientific publications
  • Plan and organize research related projects in the clinical divisions and institutes
  • Manage the internal and external presentations and training associated with the studies
  • Represent the AOCID in internal expert groups

You have completed your MSc or PhD in natural science or equivalent. As an ideal candidate, you have at least three years' experience in clinical studies, medical services, medical writing and teaching on an international, multicultural level. As a strong written and oral communicator in English (German beneficial), you like to work independently and can make yourself at home in a young team. A structured and organized approach as well as leadership skills are expected.
