Business Developer - Bunkering/Shipping

For one of our clients, a Bunker trading company based in Geneva, we are currently seeking to recruit a Sales Manager expert:

Your mission:

  • Business development responsibility for Company’s bunker offering to third party customers worldwide
  • Develop multiple level relationships with bunker buyers and management in target segments within shipping and trading companies  
  • Develop a clear positioning for Company’s bunker offering within the marketplace
  • Rigorous account management in target segments to ensure alignment in the business, tracking of execution, ensuring defined service levels
  • Build relationships, develop understanding of supplier needs and capabilities, negotiate deals
  • Work with bunker and fuel oil team to manage Company’s approval process, risk management approach, etc

Your profile:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in oil shipping or bunkering at a senior level
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in French and English mandatory
  • Performance and profitability oriented
  • High energy level and desire to close deals
  • Possibility to bring a portfolio
  • Knowledge of African markets is a plus
  • Bachelor or Master degree in shipping/maritime studies/Business or Economics
  • Deep understanding of the Bunker industry
