Market Access Senior Manager / Director - Global




Our client is a global pharmaceutical organisation undergoing rapid global growth. We are searching for a Senior Manager / Director of Market Access to take responsibility for the new product area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Market Access Professional to join a multi-national organisation and develop your career in the long term, becoming a major part of a dynamic organisation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Reporting to the Global Head of Market Access

• Work closely with the global business units including R&D, Brand and Product Management, Marketing etc to develop new products access to the market

• Drive the overall strategy of market access and pricing for the new products

• Lead the development of the product value proposition

• Developing and supporting, pricing and reimbursement strategies

• Collaborating with key stakeholders

• Evaluating market trends, carrying out research analysis and understanding product issues

• Validation and development of economic analyses/publications

• Work closely with customers both payers and Health Technology Assessment (HTA’s) to develop relationships and gain understanding from the customer perspective

• Develop and drive global strategies including; Engagement, Reimbursement, Pricing, Negotiation

• Responsible for detailed research with payers across different markets / regions in order to develop value perception of new products

• Work closely with Communications to develop global messaging for new products

Candidate Profile:

• Masters degree qualified or Bachelors with continuous training

• 10 years experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry

• At least 6 years experience working within Market Access

• Good knowledge of different therapeutic areas including new products / launch

• Experience in Market Access across different regions / markets – Europe, EMEA, Global etc

• Proven track record of developing market access for new products and markets

• Excellent understanding of the international payer and HTA environment and ability to develop and drive pricing strategies

• Ability to work well in Matrix environment – leading cross functional teams

• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills – both internal stakeholders and external customers

• EU or Swiss national or holder of a current Swiss work permit
